Lucknow: At least 318 more people tested the positive Covid-19 in the city on Friday, taking the calculation of the third wave starting on December 22 to 55,600.
About 441 patients also recover from diseases in the last 24 hours.
Overall 52,862 patients, who contracted the infection in the third wave, had recovered so far.
As a result, the number of active cases on Friday night was 2,738.
The death toll in the third wave has been 35 to date.
New cases on Friday include three health care workers, which were tested after developing diseases such as influenza.
62 The highest case was reported from Chinhat, followed by Aliganj 46, Alambagh 27, Indiranagar 26 and Sarojini Nagar 17.
The remaining cases come from other parts of the city.
Meanwhile, at least 21,518 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in Lucknow on Friday.
As many as 9,124 people received the first dose, 10,471 got twice and 1,923 received a booster dose.

The hospital administration has ordered fumigation for the next three days, said the Head of the Medical Inspector from GP Gupta.
