LUCKNOW: The number of active cases of Covid-19 dropped below the 1,000-mark for the first time in 75 days, on Sunday.
While 42 more persons tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection, 159 recovered from the disease.
As a result, the patients with active infection status dropped to 999.
Earlier, active cases were 954 on March 23.

Over 1.55 lakh people were infected, of whom over 1.53 lakh recovered.
