LKO: 5 more backlog deaths; Virus kills 1, grips 23 more

Lucknow: A patient gives up on Coronavirus and five countless deaths are recorded on Sundays, while at least 23 more people are tested positively.
The five backlog deaths were what had happened during April and May but remained counted because the hospital did not renew them on the Covid Portal of the State Health Department.
With this, such a count of death has increased to 111.
On Saturday, the number of new cases has fallen to 11, which is lowest in 112 days, and no deaths reported.
As many as 13 patients recovered on Sunday.
The number of active cases is 267.
Meanwhile, black fungal infection or mukormycosis also claims the life of two patients, including the city’s population.
Both patients – a 55-year-old man from Bareilly and 60 years from Lucknow – was in care at Kgmu.
Three more musormycotic patients were treated at KGMU, while the other three were discarded.
