Lucknow: At least 53 roadside parking slots closed on Friday after their contract was canceled by Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) on the grounds that they did not have basic facilities mandated in the contract and excessive complaints.
This step, however, invites protests from Corporators who say that decisions taken without making alternative arrangements will result in discomfort for people.
