Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed the 56th DGP-IGP Conference at the Police Headquarters on Saturday, spent 12 hours since morning with the top nation police at a marathon meeting that had all brass intelligence, including the national security advisor Ajit Doval, Head of the Intelligence Bureau Arvind Kumar and Raw Head Samant Gelel.
The Minister of Home Union Amit Shah was also present.
PM arrived at 9:35 a.m.
and discussed the state chief of the state and head of the central armed paramilitary forces for more than 90 minutes.
After that, the presentation was carried out on counter-rebellion, DarkNet and drug trafficking operations.
Other major problems, including Taliban takeovers from Afghanistan and consequences for India, are discussed too.
PM Modi interacts with police chiefs from all over India during tea and high lunch, which is said to be the longest time spent by him in every establishment of the police.
During the conference, PM was also shown in the achievement of the Uttar Pradesh police since 2017, when the BJP government took power in Lucknow.
This includes crackdown over the criminals and confiscation of their property.
The police also highlighted their social media outreach with each of the District Police’s Twitter handles having an account that rounded up to discuss complaints of residents.
Also, he showed off how the police were the first strength in the country to check the news with 35,000 followers.
After dinner with those who attended the conference, PM went to Raj Bhawan at 8:45 a.m.
After that, Interior Minister Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval were also left for their respective purposes.
On Sunday, PM Narendra Modi, who arrived at Lucknow then on Friday, will return to the venue to take part in the deliberations on the last day.
