LKO: Rain creation Thursday among the highest in 20 years

Lucknow: Curition Creatch 225mm Rainfall was recorded in the city on Thursday, placing it among the top 10 hing-day downpours the toughest recorded in the last two decades.
It began to rain after midnight and continued throughout the day.
While around 107mm rainfall was recorded until 8:30 a.m., around 115mm reported starting at 8:30 a.m.
until 5:30 a.m.
Drizzle continues until late at night.
The maximum temperature falls up to 25 degrees Celsius, almost eight degrees below normal.
It is almost the same as the minimum temperature (23.9 degrees Celsius) which is recorded during the day, meaning that the level of mercury remains constant for 24 hours.
Director of State Met JP Gupta said that the intensity of rainfall will begin to decline from Friday, but some light to moderate spells are expected in the next 48 hours.
The low pressure area above Madhya Pradesh and the invasion of heavy humidity from the Bay of Bengal is responsible for the rain, he added.
According to the Ministry of Meet, the total rainfall on certain days is the amount received within 24 hours starting at 8:30 in the morning.
It was also the toughest rainfall in the city of this rainy season and a maximum in the last 24 hours.
