“Regularly, we provide up to 80 platelet units a day, but now we are processing up to 140,” said Prof.

We also organize voluntary camps that are very helpful in meeting demand like now”.
Aliganj-based private blood bank manager Satish Bhasin said that they did not save platelets due to short life.
“We provide platelets for each patient only after processing from donor blood.
