Lucknow: News Minister Union Amit Shah inaugurated the All-India DGP-IGP Conference for three days at the Police Headquarters in Lucknow together with the Secretary of Ajay Kumar Bhalla and the Head of the Intelligence Bureau Arvind Kumar.
National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, although present in Lucknow, will join the event from Saturday.
While inaugurating the conference, Shah appreciates the role played by security forces during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He emphasized better coordination between state police and other central institutions, while urging delegates to focus on rapid implementation of suggestions discussed during the meeting.
Shah emphasizes the need for zero in security related issues, including coastal security, left-wing extremism, narcotics trade, cyber-crime management and borders.
He praised the conference hybrid format as directed by the Prime Minister and observing this will help in the spread of a better cutting-edge proposal.
He emphasized reform at the police station for an effective police.
The head of the United States and the United States and General Armed Generals were present at the police headquarters in Lucknow.
About 350 officers attended this session almost from the Office of the Intelligence Bureau in various states and trade union areas.
Shah distributed police medals to the Intelligence Bureau officers for service contributing and distributed trophies to the officers of the Best Station of the Three Station of the Bazaar in Delhi, Gangapur in Odisha and Bhatta Kalan in Haryana.
Then, Shah and Chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister went to receive PM Narendra Modi at Amusi airport at night.
Considerations are held on various internal security issues, including prison reform, the challenges caused by radicalization and training of police with Natgrid Roadmap on this problem.
This conference was arranged in hybrid mode for the first time.
In run-up to the conference, various core groups consisting of DGPs from various countries were formed to hold discussions about the main aspects of internal security.
This year, for the first time more than 200 officers from different seniority were asked to submit papers on contemporary security issues.
