‘Lncrna affects cancer drugs’

Thiruvananthapuram: Long Non-Coding RNA (LNCRNAS), which was littered in cancer research, has a great potential therapy, said Prof.
Mrs.
Rao, veteran scientist and former Central President of Jawaharlal Nehru for further scientific research (JNCASR).
When speaking after giving the 26th Foundation Day lecture from the Biotechnology Center Rajiv Gandhi (RGCB) here, Prof.
Rao, A Padma Awardee, said clinical trials are currently underway for several LNCRNA molecules that have a significant impact on future cancer treatments.
Non-coding (NCRA) RNA is a RNA (ribonucleeat acid) molecule that is classified into the length and shortness based on its size.
Prof.
Rao sent lectures on topics ” non-coding RNas in cellular differentiation and cancer – a story of LnCra MRHL: Discovery to function ”.
The foundation stone for RGCB is placed on November 18, 1995, and the institute is currently celebrating 25 years from the start.
Prof.
Chandrabhas Narayana, Director, RGCB, who delivered the speech address, also distributed appreciation for teachers and students merit.
