Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Administration has set a target to distribute Rs 1.85 Crore to 325 people to start their own business and trade activities under the unemployed generation generation generation program (UYEGP).
Those who have completed the age of 18 years and learned to class VIII qualified to register.
The maximum age for the general category of people is repaired at the age of 35 years and 45 years for the special category.
Women, Adi Dravidars, tribes, backward classes, mostly classes backwards, disabled people and transgender come under a special category.
The proposed trade and business in the scheme must have an investment of less than Rs 15 lakh for the manufacturing industry and RS 5 Lakh for the trade and service industry.
There will be no training program and interview this year due to restrictions on Covid-19.
