Jaipur: A man has submitted a police case against two people for giving him a threat to live and beautify it on behalf of loan payments at the conscious police station in Sikar.
The man had taken a loan of Rs 3.81 Lakh and claimed to have paid off Rs 4.65 Lakh, but two moneylenders said that he was still in debt at those of Rs 24 Lakh.
MoneyLenders allegedly threatened to kill him if he failed to pay a loan.
According to the police, the victim was identified as Jai Prakash Sharma, a native of Jheaggar Badi Village in Sikar Regency, has filed a complaint of extortion against two people.
“In this complaint, Sharma stated that he had taken a loan of Rs 3.81 lakh from one Murlidhar Sharma and other people and had paid Rs 4.65 lakh on them on time.
However, the two defendants told him that he still owed them RS 23.61 lakh.
In complaints he also stated that the two men threatened him to kill if he failed to pay the amount they asked, “the police said.
Sharma in complaints added that he had taken money on February 7, 2018 and also gave them two empty checks and one empty stamp paper.
“Both also threaten them that they will deposit the check given by him and when the check will be reduced by the bank, they will drag it in a bounce case,” the officer added.
He had added that both of them also threatened that he had to move his land to them or had to pay Rs 23.61 lakh.
“The victim filed a complaint when his father was harassed by the defendant.
We have taken complaints and are investigating this problem,” the officer added.
