PANAJI: In a big shame for BJP, the Minister of Science and Technology Michael Lobo on Monday resigned from the Government of CM Pramod Sawant, and also as MLA.
The former minister, who represented Calangute, also resigned from BJP’s main membership.
The election of the BJP election responsible for Devendra Fadniv said that he called Lobo on Sunday night asking him not to stop at the party and be patient for a day, and that he would come to Goa to resolve all problems.
However, Lobo told Fadnavis that it was too late, and that he had decided to stop.
Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant also said he tried to contact Lobo on Sunday night.
“I will make a decision about whether to join Congress or contest as independent in the next two days,” Lobo Toi said.
Sources said lobo induction could not occur on Monday night after the Saligao Congress Block Committee, Siolim and Calangute wrote strong letters told the HIGH Command party on this problem.
Because the news was broken that the lobo would join the Congress, his officials strongly opposed his entry.
“The trip is quite long and good with BJP,” Lobo said.

Lobo said that he realized that the party had put it aside.

He also showed that he did not ask for a party ticket for his wife Delilah, because BJP had stated a ticket to Dayand Mandrekar in Siolim.
“I haven’t stopped from BJP because my wife wasn’t given a ticket.
I was made to understand I had no place at the party, and thus I had to get out.
I was a Yorkakarta aged 15 years, and because there was no place for me at the party, I had left , “he said.
Lobo is the third MLA from a minority community to resign as MLA.
With the twins out of the lobo and Mayem Mla Pravin Zantye, the power of BJP in the Goa legislature has now dropped to 23.
Lobo emphasizes that he will not resign as minister, MLA and from BJP Minister Manohar Parragar is still alive.
“Parragar is a high leader.
I have a lot of beautiful memories with him.
He used to solve a problem across the table.
We also have an argument on several occasions.
Even when he didn’t agree, he used to understand what was in our mind,” Lobo said .
He said Calangute constituents would give him the opportunity to serve them again.
