Local Leadership to Call Alliances for NMC Polling: Sena MP

Nagpur: Shiv Sena Rajya MP and National Secretary Anil Desai Party said local leadership in Nagpur would make a last call on the Alliance for Civic 2022 polls.
Speaking exclusively to Ti, Desai also talked about party plans for growth in the temporary Nagpur Balancing new vs.
long equations.
While acknowledging the importance of the old timer in the party, Desai explained that in the future, problems driven by young people will be at the forefront for Shiv Sena.
Desai accepted that the party did not have good for a long time in various polls held in Nagpur Regency.
“Our performance in this district is not at the level he will liked, with the exception of Ramtek where the legislative seats and chairs of Lok Sabha with us.
At the same time, we have noticed the increase in voting percentages in many regions but candidates cannot reach seats .
So, every party must look carefully at the strategy to approach the poll and increase the chances of winning, “Desai said.
Sena leader, which is aide near Ballasaheb Thackeray, continues to play an important role in the regulation of party organizations and follow up on the bridge between high command and several local units.
Desai is not committed to whether it will go alone for future civilian polls.
“This decision will be taken by local leadership after considering all options.
If the alliance is useful, it can be considered, but there is no final decision about it,” Desai said.
Desai did not deny that Sena is now increasingly ‘younger’ with youth leaders get a key position.
“Over the years, youth leaders under the guidance of Aditya Thackeray have performed very well with more young people now being interested in Yuva Sena.
This is a natural process where young faces and those who are experienced working together to make a party stronger, “Desai said.
Shiv Sena is now targeting the key to 18-35 age groups by promoting younger faces in party organizational hierarchies.
Desai said, “The group chose in a higher number and had the potential to change the results.
Youth leaders have new ideas because they know better new voters and our head head Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Ji also put trust in them.
Plus, we continue to get input about this (polls) of the research institutions that we do.
So, this is a natural process and we need to change according to time.
“Despite not ignoring the senior party in Nagpur, Desai makes it clear that in the future, parties will be driven by a problem related to youth.
He said, “The experience is the mainstay of the party but we guard tabs on social-political changes occur on the other side as well.
But the youth problems are at the forefront because they are very intense in their demands, whether it is related to work, education etc.
We need Organizational settings that are ready to overcome this problem.
