After the desk help verifies the vaccination status, they will smoke the vaccine certificate and photocopy of ID.
This must be equipped when buying a monthly season ticket from the booking counter.

The online portal that is being put together and associated with Cowin for verification will require a few more days to be functional.
Officials say SOP has been set only for the general public.
Other categories that have been allowed to take local trains such as health workers, government staff and frontline workers can continue to run vel according to procedures, use their ID cards, and can get tickets every day.
The government expects all passengers to enter the train to screen for relevant documents at least until August 31, after that the police can turn to random checks.
Checks outside the station will be carried out by state police and government train police and on the train by the train staff.
“Assistance from the local police will be sought for several days until the process is efficient,” said an official (with input by Manthan K Mehta)
