Mumbai: The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Monday raided several locations related to Shiv Sena MP Bhavana Gawali in the alleged money laundering case.
The central body has found irregularities to the Tone of Rs 17 Crore in trust that is connected with Gawali.
According to the initial information, at least seven buildings related to members of Lok Sabha from Yavatmal-Washim were searched under the provisions of the prevention of money laundering Law (PMLA).
It is understood that the ED case was based on Maharashtra police police in alleged fraud and other deviations.
Searches are being made on property connected to Gawali in Washim, Mumbai and other neighboring areas.
