BHUBANESWAR: The state government on Sunday declared additional expansion of this statewide lockdown until 5 am on June 17.

Weekend shutdown on Saturdays and Sundays will continue to stay in force throughout the nation through the lockdown.
In view of extreme drop in Covid favorable instances in Nuapada, Sundargarh and Gajapati districts in the past couple of days, the government has chosen to raise the present caked window of buying vital commodities (in 7-11 am) to 6 months (7 am to 1 pm) at these locations weekly.
All kinds of stores, except saloon, beauty parlours and malls are permitted to remain open for half an hour at Nuapada, Sundargarh and Gajapati.
