Lockdown Expanded in Seven Arunachal districts

ITANAGAR: The Arunachal Pradesh government on Friday decided to expand the lockdown in seven districts until June 7 after a spike in Covid-19 instances, senior officials said.
The lockdown from the Itanagar capital area, Tawang, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Upper Subansiri, Lohit, and also Anjaw districts had been to finish on May 31.

The assembly agreed to create the 500 LPM Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) oxygen functional in the Committed Covid Hospital (DCH) at Chimpu, close here, besides establishing 600 LPM plants at 19 hospitals and accepted liquid chemical oxygen (LMO) storage components at five strategic places.
It was decided to ramp up the Amount of oxygen beds in Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun close, and also in DCH Chimpu, ” the officers stated.
