CHENNAI: Madras University on Thursday announced that the April 2021 theory exams for undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses will be delayed by a week due to lockdown.
The exams will begin on June 21.
Earlier, the higher education department had announced that the exams for all universities would begin on June 15.
“Due to the lockdown, the preparations for the exam including preparation of question papers have been affected.
So, the exam will begin after a slight delay,” officials said.
According to the release by university registrar incharge N Mathivanan, the schedule for the exams will be uploaded on the university’s website www.unom.ac.in on June 14.
The hall tickets will be uploaded on June 15.
