Chennai: Department of School Education will provide training based on learning outcomes to teachers between January 10 and February 25.
The training will take place during the closing of the school for class I to IX because of the surge in Covid-19 case.
This program will be held in the Hi-Tech lab in government secondary schools at the block level.
Safe! You have successfully thrown your votelogin to see the results of the “State Council for Education Research and Training (SCERT) have determined the learning outcomes for each lesson.
To clarify doubts about learning outcomes and to ensure that each student achieves the learning objectives, further training is needed,” Circular words from the school education department.
The teacher’s association, however, opposed the steps to conduct more than 100 teachings at the location when the Covid-19 case was set to reach the peak in the coming weeks.
“When Covid-19 spread quickly, asking teachers to gather at the block level in one place can cause the spread of Covid-19 infection.
It is not possible to ensure social distance in the hi-tech laboratory.
Therefore, the training program needs to be done after the Covid-19 case subsides, “said P K Ilandaran, President of the Tamil Nadu teacher association.
