Thiruvananthapuram: In a letter written to the chairman of the Pinarayayan Minister Vijayan, the Indian Industrial Confederation (CII) has requested to avoid enforcing the control measures of Covid which will hamper the recovery of the industry and economic economy.
CII stated that the industry had witnessed momentum in the market with a surge in demand in various sectors.
The proactive measures taken by the government have helped the industry rise again and contributed to the country’s economic growth.
“With Covid Caseload rises throughout the country and with the emergence of Omicron variants, CII has asked the government to implement learning from the first phase and both pandemics and maintain a fair balance between life and livelihoods,” said Sreenath Vishnu, Chair, CII Kerala.
