Thiruvananthapuram: The country has reported 16,338 positive cases of 68,971 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
TPR has risen to 23.68%.
With 20 deaths again in the past few days it was recorded as Covid death and 179 deaths added from the appeal received, the dead victim had risen to 50,568.
The current total active case is 76,819, where 4.4% of people are accepted either in hospitals or other care centers.
At the same time, 3,848 patients have recovered.

Infection contact sources cannot be traced for 859.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the highest number of cases – 3,556, followed by Ernakulam (3,198), Kozhikode (1,567),), thrissur (1,103), kollalam (892), Kannur (787), Pathanamthitta (774) , Malappuram (708), Palakkad (703), Alappuzha (588), Idukki (462), Kasaragod (371) and Wayanad (240).
There are a total of 1,72,295 people currently observing in various districts, where 1,68,657 are in their homes or institutional quarantine centers and 3,638 in isolation in hospitals.
As the acquisition of the weekly infection population ratio, six wards in five areas of the agency have more than 10% WIPR.
