Thiruvananthapuram / Kozhikode: Congress and BJP launched a spicy attack on the LDF government for his decision to change Lok Ayukta’s actions which said it would limit the forces of anti-corruption and fuel corruption.
Opposition leader V d Satheesan wrote to Governor Arif Muhammed Khan asked him not to give his approval to the rules when the government’s move came at the time of the complaint against the Head of Pinarayi Vijayan’s Minister and Minister of Higher Education R Bindu was waiting before Lok Ayukta.

Sathean said Lok Ayukta was the only effective tool left in the state after amendment to prevent the corruption law mandating that pre-permissions were needed to register cases against ministers or officials.
The government’s trip to make Lok Ayukta Ocyless also involves the secret motives to protect himself if corruption accusations arise against the proposed silverline project, he said.
Sathean added that when the CPM national leadership has explained in parliament that Lok Ayukta must be strengthened, the left government in this country contrary to it fears that it might face a counter-attack from the court.
Anti-corruption body is considering several government policies and projects.
He said when he was the main minister, several petitions were put forward against him at Lok Ayukta, but it was handled legally.

He said the government must explain why it was very urgent to submit an amendment to an action that was ratified in the Assembly by the government led by Nayane in 1999, when the Assembly would meet next month.
