Nagpur: A spokesman for the newly appointed Congress Atul Londhe on Monday submitted cases of civil and criminal slander in the state unit BJP Vice President Kirit Somaiya.
The complainant prayed for forcing a Re1 penalty in respondents and apologies for “false and unfounded accusations” against the leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
Speaking to the media outside the district court location and session, Londhe said the former MP BJP made a statement of defamation of Congress leaders, NCP and Shiv Sena without evidence and there was an urgent need.
Londhe stated that Somaiya’s nonstop attack and false accusations against MVA leaders lead to creation of distrust between the masses.
“He is responsible for ending the career of many young leaders.
Until now, he cannot prove even one charge against one of the leaders.
If you want to expose corruption, do it without targeting the selected party and with concrete evidence,” Londhe said.
A further spokesman said that it appeared on the TV channel, Somaiya had accused that the RS100 crore extortion money received by the former minister as claimed by former Police Commissioner Mumbai Parllamber Singh, was 40% respectively received by NCP and Sena and a 20% break.
by Congress.
Londhe claims he is present at the same show.
“When I asked Somaiya for the proof, he walked away.
I have sent a video clip from the show along with my case.
When Singh himself said that he had no evidence for the RS100 crore fee, how Somaiya could make accusations of slandering like that ? “Londhe said.
Speaking of other accusations carried out by former BJP parliamentarians against his party leaders, Londhe said that in one case, the judge himself said that he waited seven years in his office for Somaiya to file a complaint, but he never arrived.
“He even put on charges against State Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, but the court quoted the last of all charges.
We want to stop for Somaiya activities where he does not need to define public leaders without evidence,” he said.
