LONDON: The British police have so far captured a total of 86 people during and participated in the Euro 2020 week’s football final between Italy and England, they said on Monday.
Metropolitan police said violations range from violations of public order to the actual body damage (ABH), drunk and irregular behavior and criminal damage.
About 53 arrests were at Wembley Stadium, where supporters collided with each other and officials, violated Cordon security and charged to the perimeter area before the start of the match, which Italy was won by the penalty.
