Mumbai: Two days after a 36-year-old woman and her three-year-old son lost, their bodies were found floating in Nolah at Chunabhatti on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Shruti Mahadik and Rajvee.
Police said they had found a suicide note.
For now, an unintentional mortality report has been submitted in this case and the police said they were investigating if it was a suicide case.
According to the police, the woman and her son, who lived with his in-laws in Lal Dongar in Chembur, lost and could not be traced.
The family conducted a search after which they filed a complaint of missing people at the Chunabhatti police station.
During the supervision of CCTV cameras around him, the police pay attention to something that falls to Nullah which is located right behind the building where the father lives.
The police said that the father of the deceased had flattened several charges against the in-laws who were ordered by the police.
