Lost woman for 2 years reunited with relatives after an accident

Kolkata: The accident in Kolkata Selatan on Wednesday provided police with instructions that helped them reunite the 56-year-old victim with his family in Nadia after two years.
The Cheru Market Police handed Sandhya Chakraborty, a woman with mental illness, to her family in Nadia’s Dhantala on Friday.
He lost from his house two years ago.
Because of Covid’s pandemic, his family, including his brother and his nephew, had given up hoping to see him again.
Both siblings cry when they meet, police said from Kolkata, who helped him back home on Friday.
According to the police, the chain of events began at around 10:35 a.m.
on Wednesday when Sandhya was reportedly broken down by a car at Jhaldar Math in Tollygunge Road.
“He suffered bleeding injuries on his forehead and was hospitalized.
The driver of the defendant was arrested and the vehicle was confiscated,” police said.
“Initially, he failed to give us his address at the hospital.
But making him shift to Pavlov’s hospital means we have to secure a court order.
Even when the process starts, we want to take our chances and reunite him with his family.
We advised him for a few hours before He was finally able to confirm his name as a sandhya.
When he said he was from Dhantala, we knew we had a chance.

“After a direct search by police Nadia, the missing woman was identified and traced to the village of Purba Noapara in Nadia.
After handing it to her family on Friday with the help of Officer D Tamang, we were surprised when the villagers expressed their thanks to us,” said an officer from the Kolkata team after returning to the city on Friday.
