Patna: almost four days before his marriage, a girl with her boyfriend allegedly committed suicide in Ruchaul Village under the Pandaul Police Station area in the Madhubani district.
The problem was revealed after their body was found floating in the Jham Das Pokhar (pond) in the village on Sunday morning, which was fishing and identified to become youth Akshay Kumar (20) and a girl Hema Kumari (19) who was a neighbor.
Madhubani SP Satya Prakash said that the girl and the boy was lost since Friday but there were no members of their family who reported the incident to the police.
“There is no sign of an external injury to the body.
Prima Facie seems to both commit suicide after their family members reject their proposal to get married,” he said.
The Pandaul Sho Shankar Kumar police station said that Hema’s family members had improved their marriages with other boys.
Babies are saved: The seven-day-old girl was saved by the police when she was suspected of being buried alive by her unstable mother near her residence in Punjabi Mohalla under the Kabaiyya Police Station area in Lakhisarai on Saturday night.
Sho Rajeev Kumar said the baby was treated at a conscious hospital for treatment after being saved.
