Low cases cause covid testing patterns being changed

Nagpur: Chandrakant Thatte School Officer Viral Fever and Cough four days ago.
His family doctor prescribed general medicines and asked him to be tested for Covid-19.
Thatte was tested negative for Covid-19 on Friday.
“I feel relieved.
Now the fever has receded.
Cough is still there.
But so far not Covid-19, I feel better,” he said.
Many liked Thattle, who experienced symptoms such as fever, coughing, runny nose and body pain occurred for Covid-19 tests after advising their doctors.
“General practitioners are still careful.
We ask about patient vaccination status, history of Covid-19 family members and their work patterns before advising them to take the test,” said the doctor Dr.
Deepak Kambun.
Because of the limitations of contacts as the effect of cascading a decline in new cases, the health admin in Vidarbha is now focusing on random testing on the market, mobile van testing, and village level testing formats to meet daily testing targets.
With weather changes, the case of viral fever increases.
The doctor advised this patient to be tested for Covid-19.
“The Bhandara district has reported zero new cases twice this week.
Even so, we are doing more than 500 tests on the average daily.
Our focus is in rural areas.
More tests are being done in the village now,” said the district collector Kadam Sandeep.
In Akola, district administration focuses on fast antigen tests in villages on weekly market days.
“We are doing a quick test and giving instant results to those who attend the weekly market in the nearest villages.
We also carried out a large number of RT-PCR in urban areas,” said Deputy Collector Resident Sanjay Khadse.
Especially, near positive patient contacts must undergo an RT-PCR test.
Contact search target is 20 contacts per patient who will ensure no more than 3,000 tests per day in Vidarbha.
However, this region does up to 20,000 tests per day.
“Even if the number of daily tests has been reduced because of a less positive case this week, we try to recover it through a more random test,” said a senior official from the Division Health Office, Nagpur.
More than 4,000 tests are being carried out in the city while around 2,000 tests in the Nagpur countryside every day.
In Yavatmal, the number of daily tests has fallen this week, but the administration is now starting to focus on those who are not vaccinated and still working in the factory / company.
“Workers in stores, places and factories in the district are asked to get themselves tested once in 10 days if they are not vaccinated.
Especially those who work in a closed environment must be tested to ensure the safety of others,” said Dr.
Rahul Mohod from Yavatmal.
Vidarbha testing capacity has increased multifold and districts can carry out up to 70,000 tests within 24 hours.
“In bulldhana, we show things to do more than 3,000 tests per day.
More than 1,600 samples are collected for RT-PCR every day.
This has ensured a decrease in the level of prisoner,” said Dr.
Dilip Kamble, Buldhana District Health Officer.
Because aggressive testing policies, positive patients are detected in the early stages now.
“A few patients need to be hospitalized or enter in the Covid Care Center in July.
We are careful and ask some patients to live in CCCS as a precaution,” said Dr.
Madhukar Rathod, Washim District Civil Surgeon.
