New Delhi: Minimum temperature in Delhi reaches 6.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday, which is the lowest temperature of the season so far in the national capital, said the Indian Meteriology Department (IMD).
According to IMD, the temperature is minimum two notches below average.
On Saturday, the city recorded a low of 8.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below average.
The relative humidity recorded at 8:30 a.m.
on Sundays is 95 percent and the maximum temperature tends to settle around 24 degrees Celsius, they said.
The weather department has predicted a partially cloudy sky for that day.
The air quality index (AQI) in the city at 9 am standing at 255, which falls in the poor category.
Neighbors Faridabad (228), Ghaziabad (274), Gurgaon (200) and Noida (213) also recorded air quality in the poor category.
Aqi between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 satisfying, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 are very bad, and 401 and 500 are severe.
