Chennai: This city tends to rain on Monday, mostly in the afternoon or evening, because of the impact of low pressure in Bengal Bay near Tamil Nadu Selatan Beach.
Forecasts by the Meeting Department said that the conditions of the sky are likely to be generally cloudy.
The storm with moderate rain is likely to occur in several regions.
“The low pressure area of Sri Lanka from Tamilnadu coast with the circulation of related cyclones up to 3.1 km above the average sea level continues.
It’s likely to stay in the same area for the next two to three days and move the weather to the west,” said the weather to the west report.
On Sundays, various parts of the city receive rain due to the impact of low pressure systems.
Ennore received maximum rain (24mm) while Meenambakkam received 8mm rain.
