Kolkata: Some sky remains cloudy on Thursday even when the office meets forecasting the rainy rain.
A LOWPRESSURE trough is set to form between Odisha and Bangladesh in South Bengal who will trigger clouds and rain in the city, said the weather.
Kolkata can receive light to medium rain on Saturdays and Sundays.
Meanwhile, depression over the Southeast Bulk Bengal was set to hit the land on Tamil Nadu beach on Thursday night.
“Once entering the ground, the trough will be formed and the rain will follow.
Kolkata can receive moderate rain on Sunday,” said Director of the Regional Meteorology Center (RMC) G K Das.
He added that the cloud cover that comes will draw a minimum temperature with a degree.
However, there may be marginal slides at maximum temperature.
“We expect a minimum temperature to rise above 20 degrees and the maximum temperature falls below 30 degrees,” said the watershed.
