Ghaziabad / Noida: Air quality in Ghaziabad and Noida deteriorated on Monday from “poor” to be “very poor” recorded a day back due to low wind speed.
In Greater Noida, which recorded “moderate” air quality for two consecutive days during the weekend, AQI dropped to the “poor” category to stand in 272.
According to air quality systems and weather forecasting and research (Safar), wind speed tends to fall to a moderate level low in the next two days.
In addition, some of the cloudy conditions and high mixing layers are tending to maintain air quality at the end of the “very bad” category until Wednesday.
Air quality is expected to increase from December 15 because of the relatively high wind speed, the experts said.
On Monday, Aqi Ghaziabad stood at 310 and Noida in 312, both in the “very poor” category.
