Lower testing, small decrease in new cases

Vadodara: Tuesday saw a minor fall in the number of fresh Covid-19 cases registered in the city and district for the past 24 hours.
The fall was also accompanied by lower testing in Vadodara.
Again 3,573 tests within 24 hours ended on Monday night, 3,161 tests were reported during the same period on Tuesday night.
While 234 new cases were reported on Monday, the number was established at 211 on Tuesday.
After 460 people were repatriated and five confirmed officially die, Vadodara now has 3,326 active cases, which include 213 in hospitals.
The condition of the 13 patients is serious because they are in a ventilator or bipap machine.
The western zone of the city reported the highest number of new cases with 65 positive testing here.
This was attended by 41 in the North Zone, 29 in the Eastern Zone and 27 in the South Zone.
The district area outside the city limits reported 49 new cases.
