Lucknow: Head of Yogi Adityanath Minister on Tuesday said the effective implementation of the Ambitious Ujjawala scheme has caused doubling the number of LPG connections in the last seven years BJP rules in the middle.
He said that the country only had 1.47 Crore Crore LPG coverage of LPG caused lower kerosene consumption that helped the state government save RS 15 Crore as income by 2020-21.
This savings is expected to touch Rs 22 Crore in the current fiscal, he said.

They are allowed to bear pollution that affect their health,” he said, praising the center to meet the target of providing 8 Crore LPG Connection under the seven-month scheme.

Yogi said that the beneficiaries of the scheme of Ujajawala provided free LPG cylinders for six months free during the Corona pandemic, where the state government bears the cost of more than Rs 1,827 Crore.

He said besides Ujajawala – where 1.5 connections were provided since the launch of the scheme in 2016 – the state government took Mamy’s steps including the construction of a 2.61 crore toilet under the mission of Swachh Bharat to maintain the dignity of women.
He also mentions mass marriage poor girls, the scheme of Kanya Sumangala for girls’ education, and retirement for poor women.
CM also announced that the construction of the Bundelkhand 296-km toll road was 70% complete and the project would be fully built in November this year.
The stone foundation from this project was placed by Modi PM in Chitrakoot on February 2020.
Likewise, he said, the process of setting the defense corridor in Chitrakoot and Jhansi had been traced quickly.
In Jhansi and Chitrakoot, said Yogi, a land bank of 3,000 hectares and 150 hectares, respectively, has been made for investment purposes.
