Prasagraj: The Executive Board of the University of Allahabad (AU) has supported the name of an official serving the signal of the Indian army, LT COL Kailash Bansal, for the inspection control post.
At present, LT Co Bansal is margirl as Director in all Indian Technical Education Council (AICTE).
He will take over Coe from COE at this time, Prof.
Ramendra Kumar Singh.
The post is without a regular appointment since 2018 when Prof.
HS Upadhyay has resigned from the post.
To ensure that the work was not affected, the University has appointed Prof.
Ramendra Kumar Singh as acting coe and he has assumed this responsibility until now.
In June 2021, AU began an effort to appoint ordinary coe and in the guidance of Chancellor Prof.
Sangita Srivastava.
AU Registrar Prof.
NK Shukla issued an official ad for the appointment of COE for a period of five years.
In addition to approving the new Coe name, the executive board also approved the promotion of seven AU teachers under the career progress scheme (CAS).
The teachers who have been approved by the position of Associate Professor to Professor are Asheel Кumar and Raj Kumar Anand Department of Physics, Renu Johri’s music department, Ashish Khare and Tanveer J Siddiqui from applied physics.
Priyamvada Singh’s promotion from the Department of Science Planetary Earth and Jaya Kapoor from the Department of English has also been approved from the position of Assistant Professor to associate the professor.
