Islamabad: After the Slugfest political day in Pakistan, Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmad Anjum has been appointed as Director General of Inter-intelligence services (fill).
The news was confirmed by the Pakistan Geo News news channel.
Development came after Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday met the army staff of Qamar Javed Bajwa in the inter-service intelligence secretariat.
Reportedly, it was a one-on-one meeting between the two leaders.

Earlier this month, the announcement of the appointment of several three-star generals by media wings from the military sir.
The news triggered controversy after Prime Minister Imran Khan asked the question of the procedure adopted by the appointment with new contents.
The Pakistani Prime Minister then described “differences” between political and military leadership regarding the removal of the Head of Contents as “technical issues”.
Khan, during a meeting of the PTI Parliament Committee, said that the problem would be resolved soon.
