Lucknow: Black fungal infection claims one more life on Wednesday.
The patient, a 50-year-old woman from Malihabad, was in care at Kgmu and survived Covid-19, but died because of the septicemia caused by mukormycosis.
Five more patients were treated at Kgmu, while 13 were discarded after recovery.
Meanwhile, the Covid State Bulletin did not mention the victim because Covid in the city on Wednesday but the column for the total death in Lucknow said 2,647 deaths, three more than Tuesday 2,644.

At least 13 other Covid cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, while 22 patients recovered.
