Lucknow: The public enthusiasm for Vaccination Covid-19 continued to run high on Saturday with more than 20,500 people to be fully vaccinated by completing a two-dose course.
While 20,566 people including 8,138 women took advantage of a special drive for those who were waiting to get the second dose, a total of 24,734 vaccinated if someone included a private center too.
Drive for the second dose is run by the Ministry of Health in government centers every Saturday.
Those aged 18-44 years formed the largest discount with 13,326 (65%) took Jab followed by 4.326 (21%) in the age group 45-59 years and 1,837 (9%) of the elderly 60 years and above.
The rest, 1,077 (5%), are health workers and front lines.
In private centers, 3,808 people including 1,618 women took the first shot.
These include 3,053 in the category of 18-44 years and 753 aged 45 years and over.
