Lucknow: 34 in the grip of dengue fever; 8 patients were hospitalized

Lucknow: There was no letup in the situation of dengue fever in the city on Monday with at least 34 cases in the last 24 hours of various parts of the country’s capital.
The Elisa test that confirmed found that all patients had been stung by Aedes Aegypti mosquitoes, the carrier of the dengue virus.
Among them, eight patients seriously and must be hospitalized because of low blood platelet counts.
The rest is stable and recovering at home.
Most new cases come from hotspot areas including Kaiserbagh, Aliganj, Kakori, City Station, Turiyaganj, Malihabad, Indiranagar, Chinhat, NK Road and Alambagh.
New casts took the calculation to 1,059 since January, where 95% (998) cases have come in the past two months.
“We monitor patients who are carefully accepted.
The medical kit is given to family members of the patient recovering at home.

Meanwhile, Larva Aedes Aegypti Mosquito was found in 12 houses in Ismailanj, Aishbagh, Shardanagar, Rajajipuram, Malahi Teach and Triveninagar.
Times saw the population of the hotspot area blame the lack of adequate anti-mosquito drives by civilian authorities for a surge.
Health and civil authorities must accelerate the drive control of mosquitoes instead depending on the weather.
People also need to take precautions to mosquito bites.
