Lucknow: About 69 samples were taken for testing the Zika virus by the Ministry of Health and sent to King George’s Medical University (KGMU) tested negatively for the virus on Monday.
These samples belong to people who live close or work with three Zika virus patients, who live in Lda Colony Kanpur Road, Phoolagh and Lal Kuan City.
“All samples tested for the Zika virus apart from three patients, have been tested negative until now.
A total of 83 more samples of the population of three fields were taken on Monday and sent further to KgMu,” said District Supervision Officer Dr Milind Vardhan.
Three Zika Patients – A 24-year-old girl from Lda Colony, a 32-year-old man from Phoolbagh and a 48-year-old woman Lal Kuan – fine, in accordance with the Ministry of Health.
“The radius for sample testing has been expanded to around 406 kilometers from kasing.
Samples of people who are not present in the area on Sunday or become a symptom on Monday,” he said.
