Lucknow: Patients who suffer from decomposition of gear bones will soon be treated through stem cell implants at the Dental Faculty of George’s Mediced University (KgMu).
The stem cell lab is being built in the oral pathology department and microbiology and immediately the CO2 incubator machine will be installed in it.
Safe! You have succeeded in throwing your votelogin to see the results of the machine, it will be able to preserve the stem cells taken from decaying toothbones and multiply them through incubation.
The cluster of the cells obtained will be used to reconstruct the bone and in root canal therapy.
So far, patients whose teeth are broken widely have to use dentures or get metallic implants.
Trunk therapy will provide other choice patients to get toothbones reconstructed with their own cells.
The incubated stem cells in the lab can also be used in other patients as long as they match certain medical parameters needed for the implant.
Oral Pathology Head and Microbiology Department Prof.
Shaleen Chandra said, “The construction of the lab will be completed within a week.
After that, the incubation machine obtained through the state government assistance will be installed.
This machine provides a stable environment designed to emulate the ideal cell natural environment for stem cell growth.
”
“Gear stem cells obtained from lost teeth or freed naturally can be incubated in the machine and are used for dental care.
To use the stem cells caused by someone in the other, human leukocyte antigens (HLA) of both must match.
HLA It is protein in the human immune system that plays an important role in accepting or rejecting implants, “he added.
This will be the second CO2 incubator machine in Kgmu.
The unit has functions in the middle for further research.
However, it will be used for the first time in a dental education institution in Lucknow.
