LUCKNOW: The police on Wednesday detained two miscreants to get a murderous attack on a physician in Chinhat place on May 27.
After stopping the physician’s car on the day, the miscreants had assaulted him before pumping 2 bullets in his mind.
The physician, recognized as Sandeep Jaiswal, that possesses a hospital at Sarvodaya Nagar, is fighting for life in a private hospital .
ACP, Vibhutikhand, Praveen Malik stated that the miscreants, recognized as Amir Chaudhary and Mohammed Rashid, were remaining in Indira Nagar.
Both of these belonged to Meerut, he explained, including that among Khalid Chaudhary, brother of one of those accused, had perished during therapy of Covid-19.
The accused had held Dr Jaiswal accountable for his departure, the ACP said and added that the accused had spent about Rs 6 lakh about the treatment of Khalid.
Following the passing of Khalid on May 8, then the accused began exerting pressure to the physician to come back Rs 6 lakh that was utilized in his therapy.
But when they realised the physician wouldn’t go back the money that they planned the assault.
“On May 27 the accused trailed the physician’s vehicle after he left for his house in Chinhat.
They stopped his car in a secluded place and assaulted him.
On the other hand, the SUV employed by the accused has been captured by CCTV set up at a nearby home.
This gave a hint to the authorities to crack the case,” he further added.
SHO Chinhat, Dhananjay Pandey stated that the SUV was enrolled in the title of a single who once approached took the titles of those accused who had been hiding in Meerut.
