LUCKNOW: With the arrest of four individuals, the Aashiana authorities on Friday busted a gang engaged with committing thefts in spirits stores when using a car fitted with a blue beacon.
The detained men were known as Deepak Kashyap, Rohit Kashyap, Mohit and Dileep Kumar.
Besides grim beacon, the retrieved automobile had national Government and emblem of India embossed onto it.
Authorities also recovered 50 cartons of stolen spirits from other stores.
Assistant commissioner of police, Cantonment, Archana Singh, who headed the surgery, stated Rohit was the mastermind of this gang.
“Mohit was employed as a driver at a private establishment in which the automobile’s owner, stated to be a helper commandant at RPF, allegedly got his automobile attached to contractual basis.
We’re confirming the facts,” Singh explained.
The group members ran a recce during afternoon working with the authorities vehicle and concentrated liquor stores situated inside colonies throughout the evening.
“The group members used to maintain beacon light switched to prevent assessing by cops,” the ACP said, including that the accused had been involved in theft in liquor stores in Aashiana and Thakurganj.
