Adeeb Walter Lucknow: In a broad daylight incident, four criminals posing as customers broke into a jewelry store and looted gold jewelery while holding the owner at Gunpoint in Aliiganj on Wednesday.
An employee who tried to intercept them were shot, police said.
The incident occurred around 12:30 at night when the store owner Nikhil Agarwal and Sharma Sharma employees were in the store handling store.
Of the four criminals, two bicycle stands guard outside the shop while the other two entered the store and pointed a gun at Nikhil.
They looted about 900 gm of gold jewelery and cash available over the counter.
Sharma Sharma was shot by criminals when he tried to intercept.
