Lucknow: Man killed & threw his wife’s body from the second floor

Lucknow: A man strangled his wife to die and threw it down from the second floor after fighting over the rejection of money from his parents.
Vinit Kumar Yadav, 38, quarreled with Shashi’s wife, 35, after her parents reportedly refused to finance a new sofa at her home to replace the old given to the couple as a dowry.
They married eight years ago.
When the argument increased, Vinit strangled Shashi and then threw it two floors suspected to describe the fatal falling case.
The police have registered cases on complaints from Shashi’s brothers and captured Vinit, vegetable vendors.
The couple lives in Phase II, Shyamnagar, Indiranagar.
According to the police, the couple was in the war-words for several days.
“Vinit forced Shashi to ask his parents for the new sofa and Shashi insisted that he would not ask his parents.
When Vinit himself asked them, they refused too,” said ADCP, North, Prachi Singh.
According to FIR by Dilip, Vinit also requested a gold chain and bike as a dowry gift.
On Wednesday, when Vinit in anger attacked Shashi and threw it down, residents flocked to the scene and warned the police.
Vinit is being interrogated at the police station.
