Lucknow: PM Narendra Modi to launch an urban project

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will announce seat arrangements, for other academic research and goals, on behalf of the former PM and BJP Stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpaye in Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBU) on Tuesday when he inaugurated the conference -Expo, ‘Azadi @ 75 – New Urban India: Changing urban landscapes’, in Indira Gandhi Prathathan.
Previously, a study chair on behalf of Vajpayee was established at Lucknow University in 2019.
During the program Tuesday, PM will submit a home key digitally, built under the Pradhan Mantri Wear Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U), up to 75,000 beneficiaries in 75 districts And it will also interact with the beneficiaries of the scheme in Uttar Pradesh.
PM will also inaugurate / put the foundation stone for 75 urban development projects in the state under the mission of Smart City and Amrut, in addition to marking 75 buses under FAME-II for seven cities – Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Jhangaj, Gorakhpur, Jhangaj, and Ghaziabad.
He will also release a coffee table book covering 75 projects implemented under various university mission of the Ministry of Housing and Urban (Mohua).
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Housing Union & Minister of Urban Hardeep Singh Puri, Anandiben Governor Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath will be present on that occasion.
Conference-Cum-Expo is being organized by Mohua from October 5-7 as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
The theme changes the urban landscape with a specific focus on transformative changes brought in the state.
All states / UTS will participate in the Cum-Expo conferences which will help in sharing experiences, commitments and directions for further action.
Three exhibitions will be held during the event.
An exhibition titled ‘New Urban India’, will highlight the achievement under the superior urban mission in the last seven years and further shows projections for the future.
The second exhibition in 75 innovative construction technologies, ‘Indian housing technology’ (IHTM), under the Global Housing Technology Challenge-India (GHTC-India), will show off construction, materials, and domestically developed and innovative construction processes developed.
Other exhibits will highlight performance since 2017.
The theme of the exhibition will focus on net Indian Urban, safe city of water, housing for all, new construction technology, smart city development, sustainable mobility and cities that promote livelihood opportunities.
