Lucknow: Dengue Hotspot in the city continues to report a high number of positive cases as 18 people diagnosed with disease on Sunday.
Dengue Hotspot includes Aliganj, NK Road, Silver Jubilee, Alambagh, Chinhat and Aishbagh, among others.
The health official team, led by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), continued the urge to create awareness among people about the steps that must be taken to examine mosquito breeding.
Of the 2,174 houses surveyed in the city of Gadi Peer Khan, Ayodhyadas, Jankipuram (second), Aliganj, Omnagar, Ibrahimpur and Indiranagar, six people were issued notification by the Ministry of Health.
In six of these houses, stagnant water was found in pots, planters and roof areas.
People are asked to regularly drain extra water in pots and planters stored in the park, balcony and terrace area.
They were also asked to drain all the water from the air conditioning tank and soak the remaining moisture with the fabric so that this is not a breeding place for mosquitoes.
