Lucknow: The city recorded death because Covid-19 for the 30th day in a row on Friday – the longest spell without victims in 15 months since last year’s pandemic outbreak in March.
Previously, there was no death recorded in March 2020 when the pandemic touched the city.
The cases were also a handful at that time.
Cases increased in April and May last year, but the number of deaths was one and three.
However, from June 2020, there was no one month when Covid-19’s death was under five.
Meanwhile, five more people were tested positive for Coronavirus novel infection while two recovered in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases in the city is 55.
Meanwhile, two more patients with black fungal infections were treated at Kgmu, while 13 patients were dismissed from the university after recovery.
