Lucknow: Two citizens of Bangladesh Armed Nabbed following a meeting with police in Gomtinagar on Wee days Monday.
Bangladesh citizens who were arrested were identified as rubles and alim.
“They plan a Dako in the city when surveillance cells who have listened to several common numbers of the past 10 months have received the aroma of their location and told the police team,” said Nilabja Choudhary, Commissioner with the police, crime.
Choudhary added that after carrying out a robbery, the attackers used to escape to Bangladesh.
“Around 1.45 in the morning, a police patrol saw several men who held the weapons and crossed the Malhaur train station in Gomtinagar.
The police officer asked the men to stop.
But they began to run after police personnel who chased them,” said Sanjiv Suman, Deputy Commissioner Police.

DCP added that the attackers opened fire on the police team while trying to escape from the scene.
The police also opened fire.
“In a shootout, two criminals suffered injuries in the legs and fell to the ground while others fled,” DCP said.
The police officer claimed that this gang was behind two dakoities that occurred in the past two years in the city.
The gang was also committed to Dakhradun, Bengaluru, Jabalpur, Bhubaneshwar and Delhi.
