Lucknow: A year after issuing an advertisement to hire 188 teachers, Lucknow University on Thursday released a new one, rearranging the recruitment process movement after the previously removed in June.
This time you have advertised 199 permanent posts lying empty.
The decision came as a relief for more than 5,000 applicants who had registered before, as well as students who could hope for the ratio taught by a better teacher at the end of the year.
Toi has consistently raised the problem of lack of faculty in Lu.
Lu had advertised 180 posts in September last year, but the process stopped first because of litigation and once again due to changes in selection rules.
The ad was finally canceled in June.
Now, 199 posts have been advertised.
This includes 188 posts advertised earlier and 19 more empty because of Teacher’s retirement this year.
The last date to submit an application for 87 POSS Assistant Professor, 70 Professor Associates and 42 professors in various departments are September 30.
About 5,024 candidates who have registered before do not need to apply.
They can add their qualifications if they get more degrees or experiences in the past year.
The whole process will be online.
“All empty posts, their restrictions at the Faculty of Education, have been advertised.
We must consult the state government in several rules associated with the faculty of education posture selection, which can be advertised later when the problem is resolved,” Suitera Registrar Vinod Kumar Singh.
Lu has faced a lack of acute teachers for a long time.
At present, around 200 (39%) permanent post from 516 is empty.
The teacher-student ratio is 1:39 Although the ideal ratio prescribed by the University Grant Commission is 1:20.
Full faculty strength will help you get a good value in the assessment of the National Accreditation Board (NAAC).
The last assessment was carried out in 2014 where Lu got a ‘b’ value.
Even then Lu faced a teacher’s shortage.
Now, the university has submitted a re-assessment.
Filling the position of the empty faculty will improve the quality of teaching and play an important role in the implementation of 2020 national education policies from the upcoming session.
Make the Public Roster System: Lulla Lucknow University Association (LUMA) has demanded university authorities to make the public system list adopted for teacher promises.
Luta President Prof.
Vineet Kumar Verma said you had to upload a list on its website for a larger transparency.
